Lesley William Marquett was born Sept. 27, 1923 to Lionel Wesley and Hazel Vera Cooper Marquett. He died Dec. 16, 1944 and is buried in Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, IA.
Pvt. Marquett served in World War II with the U.S. Army 126th Infantry, 32nd Division and was KIA on Leyte Island, Philippine Islands.
