Bruce Alva Mahoney was born Feb. 28, 1923 to Earl Paul and Bessie Lola Ross Mahoney. He died Mar. 19, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Sgt. Mahoney served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 455th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA in the Adriatic Sea. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
