Lubben Visits
Sgt. Larry Lubben is enjoying a 7-day furlough with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jacobs and other relatives. He is serving as a clerical worker at Camp Van Doran, Miss. Sgt. Lubben is a brother of Mrs. Jacobs.

Lawrence A. “Larry” Lubben was born Feb. 15, 1919 to John and Anna Fokkers Lubben. He died Dec. 17, 2008 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA. Larry served in World War II with the U.S. Army 99th Infantry Battalion.
