James Lovelady was born Dec. 16, 1921 to Ralph S. and Fern Alma Shannon Lovelady. He died Dec. 29, 1944 and is buried in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, IA.
Lt. Lovelady served in World War II with the U.S. Army 364th Infantry and died in Adak Island, The Aleutians while in the service of his country.
