Walter Clifford Loftus, Jr. was born June 16, 1916 to Walter Clifford (Sr.) and Hazel Leona Grove Loftus. He died Mar. 6, 1945 and is buried in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Loftus served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 2nd Cargo Resupply Squadron and was KIA in Burma in an airplane crash.
