80 Kossuth Men Officially Listed As Casualties In War
FIRST RELEASE OF STATE HISTORICAL DEATH SUMMARIES
Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Limberg, Alfred, Sgt.
Killed in action over Germany, 10-12-44.

Alfred Limberg was born Oct. 17, 1917 to Abel and Minnie Kuper Limberg. He died Oct. 12, 1944 and is buried in Olena Mound Cemetery, Buffalo Center, IA.
Sgt. Limberg served in World War II with the U.S. Army Troop C, 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and was KIA in Aachen, Germany.
