George Henry Lewis was born Mary 21, 1923 to Earl George and Gertrude Ehrlich Lewis. He died Oct. 27, 1947 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, IA.
Petty Officer Lewis served in World War II with the U.S. Navy on Wake Island and became a POW.
