80 Kossuth Men Officially Listed As Casualties In War
FIRST RELEASE OF STATE HISTORICAL DEATH SUMMARIES
Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Carl F. Leonhard was born Jan. 23, 1914 to Peter F. and Christina Leonhard. He died July 28, 1945 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Pvt. Leonhard served in World War II with the U.S. Army 4th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, Mechanized and died while in the service of his country.
