Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Lake have received word their son, Second Lieut. Arvel Lake, has been sent overseas. He is in the army air corps.

Arvel Merle “Jack (Red)” Lake was born Sept. 5, 1922 to Arvel Ernest and Mildred R. Clarence Lake. He died Apr. 26, 1988 and is buried in Plymouth Presbyterian Cemetery, Brunsville, IA.
