Lt. William LaSeur

Morehead, Iowa – Lieut. William LaSeur of Morehead is now the pilot of a Flying Fortress at the Walla Walla army air field, where he and his crewmates are receiving last phase bomber training before being shipped to an overseas combat area. LaSeur is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank LaSeur of Morehead. He was commissioned second lieutenant January 4, 1943, and received his early and advanced training at Ellington field, Texas and Ephrata, Washington before assignment at Walla Walla.

William Veryle LaSeur was born Dec. 12, 1920 to Frank and Grace Irene Kress LaSeur. He died Mar. 4, 1999 and is buried in Waco Memorial Park in Texas.

William served in World War II and Korea.
