Svend A. Krogh was born May 9, 1921 to Peter Andersen and Kathrine Bonde Krogh. He died Nov. 26, 1943 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Sgt. Krogh served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 577th Bomb Squadron, 392nd Bomb Group, Heavy and was KIA in Germany, in the position of nose gunner on his plane, during his last mission. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
