Elmer Edward Kreissler was born Oct. 31, 1924 to Louis Herman and Augusta Elisabeth Gerken Kreissler. He died May 27, 1945 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah, IA.
Pvt. Kreissler served in World War II with the U.S. Army 210th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion and died in the Philippine Islands while in the service of his country.
