Howard William Korman was born Aug. 24, 1915 to Fred William and Hattie Lorena Moore Korman. He died Nov. 12, 1992 and is buried in Wilson Grove Cemetery, Sumner, IA. Howard served in World War II with the U.S. Army 81st Infantry Division and served in Hawaii, the Palau Islands, the Philippines and Japan.
