Edward Daniel Knock was born Aug. 16, 1908 to Peter H. and Esther M. Knock. He died Aug. 17, 1944 and is buried in Colfax Center Cemetery, Grundy Center, IA.
Lt. Knock served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Chemical Warfare Service, Headquarters 18th Airborne and died in England while in the service of his country.
