Glenn R. Knapp was born Sept. 6, 1917 to Arthur J. and Ethel Sawvell Knapp. He died Feb. 24, 1945 and is buried in Saint Marys Catholic Church Cemetery, McGregor, IA.
Pvt. Knapp served in World War II with the U.S. Army 503rd Parachute Infantry and was KIA in Corregidor, Philippines.
