News About Men in Service From Over Northeast Iowa
La Porte City—Albert Kline, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Kline, was promoted from seaman first class to communications yeoman, third class, in the Navy, according to information received by his parents the last week. He joined the Navy in August, 1942, and is now on the east coast.
His brother, Don Kline, was promoted from first class ordnance man to chief aviation ordnance man. He has been in the Navy longer than his brother and is on the west coast.
