Edwin Henry Klemp was born July 27, 1921 to Herman R. and Mary M. Schroder Klemp. He died Jan. 6, 2002 and is buried in Union Mound Cemetery, Sumner, IA. Pvt. Klemp served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.
