Keith Klein of Webster City has completed his basic training at Camp Roberts, Cal., and has been transferred to Fort Worden, Wash., with the coastal artillery harbor defenses of Puget Sound.

Keith Durward Klein was born Oct. 10, 1923 to Frank Herman and Mary Mabel Woodmansee Klein. He died Dec 27, 1999.
Pvt. Klein served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 248th Coast Artillery, 768th Field Artillery and 4280th Quartermaster Battalion.
