Pvt. John Kinnemann

 

Three sons and a son-in-law of Mrs. Emma Kinnemann, 2523 McKinley avenue, are serving overseas, while her daughter, Pvt. Irene Kinnemann, a WAC medical technician, is stationed at Wakeman general hospital, Camp Atterbury, Ind. A former employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone, Co, as traffic department supervisor, Miss Kinnemann has been in the service since January of this year.

Pvt. John Kinnemann with the Second marines in the Southwest Pacific, entered the service last May and went overseas in November, after training at Camp Pendleton, Calif. He was formerly employed as a machinist by French & Hecht.

Now somewhere in the Philippines, Otto Kinnemann, jr. radio technician, U.S.N., is serving aboard an LST. He had his specialized training at Alameda, Calif and Manhattan Beach, N.Y. He was employed by French & Hecht Technician Kinnermann's wife and daughter reside at 2805 Glenn street, Bettendorf.

Also a former French & Hecht employee, Staff Sgt. Kenneth Kinnemann, whose wife resides at 2016 Rockingham road, is stationed at Luzon, where he participated in that invasion. He had his training at amphibious school in New Orleans and at Camp Edwards, Mass.

Pfc. Robert Bennett, son of Mrs. Frank Bennett 2035 West Sixth street, and son-in-law of Mrs. Kinnemann, is also stationed at Luzon and is attached to a cavalry division. His wife makes her home at 2523 McKinley avenue.
