Carroll H. Kimmick was born Sept. 12, 1917 to John and Nora A. Kanke Kimmick. He died Apr. 17, 1944 and is buried in Saint Johns Catholic Cemetery, Emmetsburg, IA.
Cpl. Kimmick served in World War II with the U.S. Army with the Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 46th Coast Artillery and died in the line of duty in the service of his country.
