Robert Crumpton Kepler was born June 1, 1925 to Oscar David and Bessie Smith Kepler. He died Oct. 25, 2020 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA. 

Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Navy, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, participating in three major island invasions and the Philippine Liberation Campaign.
