Pfc. James H. Kent

 

 

PFC. JAMES KENT AMONG WOUNDED IN FRENCH ZONE

Pfc. James Kent of Webster City was slightly wounded in action, Nov. 16, in France, according to a war department message received here by his wife.

Mrs. Kent had previously received a letter from her husband telling her of his injury. The Webster City soldier has received the purple heart medal for the wounds received.

Private Kent has been in service since January and has been overseas since early August.

GIVEN DISCHARGE.

Private First Class James H. Kent of Webster City, has recently received his honorable discharge.

James Harold Kent was born July 19, 1910 to William and Gertie Williamson Kent. He died Jan. 9, 1994 at Spring Valley, MN.
