James Roger Kammeier was born Mar. 28, 1921 to Edward and Jeanette Kammeier. He died Dec. 13, 2003 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Shell Rock, IA.
James served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II with the 551st Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion; Headquarters Squadron, 13th Fighter Command.
