Leslie Joyce Johnson was born Oct. 17, 1919 to Julius T. and Lillie Ulstad Johnson. He died Apr. 22, 1945 and is buried in the Belmond Cemetery, Belmond, IA.
Sgt. Johnson served with the U.S. Army in Co. I, 106th Infantry, 27th Div. in World War II. He DOW received in fighting on Okinawa Island.
