Armon B. Johnson was born May 14, 1922 to Andrew M. and Borgina Marie Peterson Johnson. He died Dec. 17, 1944 and is buried in Saint Olaf Lutheran Cemetery, Bode, IA.
Pvt. Johnson served with the 127th Infantry, 32nd Division U.S. Army in World War II in Leyte, Philippine Islands where he died of wounds received.
