Holstein, Iowa ----Aviation Cadet James E. Jatho, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Jatho, has finished primary flight at Vernon, Texas, and has been transferred to the Enid army air field, Enid, Oklahoma, for basic training. He was recently married to miss Maxine Lohff of Des Moines.

James Edwin Jatho was born Feb. 12, 1922 to Edwin F. and Alice Anetta Rochan Jatho. He died Nov. 10, 1998 and is buried in Holstein Cemetery, Holstein, IA.
1st Lt. Jatho served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 464th Bomb Group.
