Donald Everett Ingertson, formerly of Webster City, died at his home in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, October 21.
He was born the second of four children to Charles and Verna Dell (Keister) Ingertson.
He survived in the U.S. Navy in World War II. On June 18, 1949, he married Ruth Alieene Doutt in Carson City, Nevada. To this union two children were born.
Ingertson retired in 1972 as a refinery cost accountant for Atlantic Richfield Corporation after 47 years in the oil industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Leonard and Raymond Ingertson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Michael R. Ingertson, daughter Donna Gayle and her husband William David Russell; sister Gayle Lorraine and her husband, Perry Martin Starr; grandchildren William Daniel (Billy) Russell, Andrew Michael (Andy) Russell, and Jennifer Rebecca (Jenny) Russell. He is also survived by three nephews and their families.
A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, October 23, 1993, at Valley Oaks Cemetery in Westlake Village, California.
