Pvt. Junior Hobert of Camp Dodge enjoyed a weekend leave with his wife and daughter, and in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Hobert.

Alvin H. Hobert, Jr. was born July 28, 1919 to August Henry and Sophia Henrietta Schredic Hobert. He died Feb. 28, 1969 and is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monticello, IA.
MSgt. Hobert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
