William A. Herron was born Aug. 19, 1924 to Ortie R. and Madeline Paris Herron. He died Mar. 24, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Herron served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Headquarters Company, 17th Airborne Division and was KIA in Germany and awarded the Purple Heart.
