Pfc. Vaughn Hauser

URBANA BROTHERS . . . chased each other all over Europe and then to the Pacific theater of war before they finally met on Luzon, the picture above resulting.

At the left is Sgt. Orville Hauser and at the right, Pfc. Vaughn Hauser, sons of the Lester Hausers of Urbana, and both former employees of LaPlant-Choate. Orville has been in service three years, his brother 22 months. They were a day apart going to the Pacific theater and their meeting was arranged by relatives through letters. Two sisters, Miss Donna Hauser and Mrs. Russell Browdy, and a brother, Clifford, live in Cedar Rapids.
