Charles William Hanna was born July 18, 1916 to William B. and Maude McDonald Hanna. He died Nov. 11, 1942 and is memorialized in Burt Township Cemetery, Burt, IA.

Ens. Hanna served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL.
