Aviation Cadet Richard Huddleston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shad Huddleston of this city has been transferred to basic flying at Gardner Field, Taft, Cal. Cadet Huddleston entered the service a year and a half ago and served with the air corps ground crew before being transferred into aviation cadet training. His address: AC R. A. Richard Allen Huddleston was born June 3, 1923 to Shad Hendershott and Bessie May McConnell Huddleston. He died Apr. 16, 1996 and is buried in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin, IL.
Pvt. Huddleston served with the U.S. Air Force in World War II.
