Franklin R. Houser was born Oct. 26, 1922 to Grover Cleveland and Magdalena Frances “Lena” Diesburg Houser. He died May 17, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pvt. Houser served in World War II with the U.S. Army 382nd Infantry, 96th Division and died of wounds received in action on Ryukyu Islands, Okinawa Island.
