Maurice Joseph Hoefer was born Oct. 19, 1919 to John and Anna R. Wilkens Hoefer. He died Feb. 7, 2007 and is buried in Desert Lawn Cemetery, Mohave Valley, AZ.
Maurice served with the U.S. Army in World War II as part of the Coast Artillery Basic Training (521), Heavy Machine Gunner (605), 8034D Field Artillery Battalion.
