Keith Paul Hecox was born Mar. 10, 1926 to Paul and Golda Bernice Crabtree Hecox. He died Apr. 23, 2010 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, IA.
Keith enlisted in the U.S. Army with the 97th Infantry Division. In Feb. 1945 he left for overseas and landed in LaHarve, France and helped clean up the Roer River Valley. From there he went into southern Germany and finally into Czechoslovakia. Keith loved his country and was proud to serve it.
