Elmer and May Sophia Beebe Heck had three sons serving in World War II: Ralph Leroy, John Donald, and Earl L. Heck.

Earl L. Heck was born May 24, 1922. He died Dec. 29, 1996 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery.

Earl served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Earl Heck, 74, Fort Dodge, died DEc. 29, 1996, at Trinity Regional Hospital. Private funeral services will be held Friday at Foster Funeral Home, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Earl L. Heck was born May 24, 1922, in Webster City. He worked for Hormel Meat Packing Co. for over 30 years. He was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by brothers, Elmer Heck, Webster City, Carl Heck, Dodge Center, Minn.; and sisters, Leila Eggers, North Hollywood, Calif., Verla Ferguson, Princeton, Mo. He was preceded in death by brothers, Loren, Clifford, John, and Ralph Heck; and sisters, Vesta Klooster, Hermal Fetter.
