Our Neighbors in Service
Cherokee—Pfc. Ralph Hartwig and S. Sgt. John Hartwig, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hartwig, Cherokee, met in Innsbruch, Austria, recently. The former is with a infantry division in the Seventh army and is now stationed in Austria. He entered the army in November, 1942, and went overseas October 1944. His brother is with an engineer company in the 6th army, having been in service since October 1941. He spent 17 months on the American defense Canada, going to Europe in March this year.
