Lowell Harkness, who has served in the navy the past two years and has seen considerable service on one of the big battleships in the south Pacific, arrived from Bremerton, Wash., and is spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Harkness.

Lowell Ernest Harkness was born Oct. 13, 1910 to Asa and Lucy Amanda Remington Harkness. He died Feb. 4, 1964 and is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA.
