Iowa Honor Roll
Like the men pictured here on previous Sundays, these Iowans have given their lives for their country. Each one was either killed in action or died in prison camp. The fourth line under each picture gives the area in which the man last served. The list will be continued in future weeks.

Robert Monroe Halladay was born Nov. 6, 1918 to Albert Monroe and Imo Garber Halladay. He died Nov. 5, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.
Ens. Halladay served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA after his plane crashed into the Caribbean Sea off the Panama Canal Zone.
