Orris Clair Haines was born Jan. 29, 1924 to Benjamin Franklin and Emma Alice Baldwin Haines. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and was buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Luxembourg. He has a cenotaph in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa.
Pvt. Haines served with the U.S. Army, Co. B, 2nd Infantry and was KIA in Germany in World War II.
