Michael J. Gutierrez was born Sept. 29, 1914 to John and Juana Gutierrez. He died June 29, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.
Cpl. Gutierrez served in World War II with the U.S. Army 456th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) and was MIA/KIA in the European area. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
