William Howard Guess was born May 18, 1913 to Frank R. and Margaret C. Morti Guess. He died Nov. 26, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA
Pvt. Guess served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. K, 126th Infantry, 32nd Infantry Division. He was KIA in the Southwest Pacific Area.
