George Chester ‘Chet’ Gribben was born Dec. 1, 1908 to Ira George and Clara B. Gribben. He died Feb. 20, 1981 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell, IA.
Pvt. Gribben served with the U.S. Army in World War II at the Regimental Headquarters Armored Replacement Training Center, Fort Knox, KY.
