Donovan G. Goodyear was born Mar. 16, 1918 to George S. and Ruth M. Brotemarkle Goodyear. He died Mar. 1, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Goodyear served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 33rd Pursuant Squadron, Provisional and was KIA in Tjilatjap, Java. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
