Harold Upton Fulks was born Jan. 6, 1923. He died Feb. 6, 2001 and is buried in the Garden of Memories, Waterloo, IA.

Sgt. Harold Fulks received a citation from Gen. Patton and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was wounded by shrapnel near Trier, Germany. He also participated in the capture of Metz and the heavy fighting in the Ardennes battle.
