Anthony Theodore Fraune was born Apr. 4, 1922 to Wilbert Joseph and Myrtle Mae Brown Fraune. He died Dec. 3, 1944 and was buried at sea and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Lt. Fraune served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 874th Bomber Squadron, 498th Bomber Group, Very Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA in Tokyo, Japan. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
