Lester G. Fonken was born June 12, 1922 to Conrad and Etta Hassebrock Fonken. He died Aug. 7, 1990 and is buried in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kamrar, IA.
Pvt. Fonken served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
