Harold Eugene Flaugh was born Sept. 24, 1918 to Tracie and Neva Alma Flaugh. He died Feb. 22, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium and Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines, IA.
Lt. Flaugh served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 67th Bomber Squadron, 44th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA/FOD in Gotha, Germany while a crew member on a B-24 Liberator and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
