Walter Lincoln Fischer was born Feb. 12, 1911 to Henry August and Clara Treichler Fischer. He died Nov. 11, 1988 and is buried in Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise, ID.
Walter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Chicago (CA-29); USS Minneapolis (CA-36); USS J. Franklin Bell (APA-16); USS LCS(L)-108 and at the Amphibious Training Base, Solomons, MD.
