Clyde C. Finley was born Oct. 16, 1922 to Clyde C. and Sophia B. McKay Finley. He died Aug. 31, 1945 and is buried in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.
Flight Officer Finley served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died as the result of the plane on which he was a co-pilot crashing into the mountains near Pathalipan, India on a mission from Kunming, China to Chabua, India.
